I cannot believe that the second quarter has ended, the school year is half over, and we have entered into 2010. I guess time flies when you are having fun.
I hope you all enjoyed the cookies that the kids made for you. We had so much fun doing that.
The kids also went snow shoeing for APE and had a great time.
I also wanted to let you all know that our snack cupboard is getting bare. Please send in snacks to share if you are able. Some of the kids favorites are pretzels, popcorn, and craisins.
I can't wait to get back to school and see all of the kids again. I hope you all had a great Winter Break.

Pumpkin Carving

Thank You

I would like to thank everyone for attending Parent-Teacher Conferences. It was great to get to meet some of you for the first time and see those that I have already met again.

Snack

We are starting to run low on healthy snacks in our room. Please send in a snack to share with your child. Pretzels and Goldfish crackers are a big hit with the students, but anything is appreciated.

Hat and Gloves

It is getting to be the time of year where you never really know what the weather is going to be like. Please stick a hat and gloves in your child's backpack in case it is cold when we go outside for recess.

Special Guest

Today we had a special guest in our class for reading circle. Ms. Esther, the school BPO, came and read a book to the class in Spanish about families. The students seemed to pick up on a few Spanish words.
